Peter Enns

Peter Enns (Ph.D. Harvard University) is a professor of Biblical Studies at Eastern University (St. Davids, PA). He was professor of Biblical Hermeneutics at Westminster Theological Seminary for 14 years, and has also taught courses at Princeton Theological Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary, Lutheran Theological Seminary (Philadelphia), Biblical Theological Seminary, Temple University, and Messiah College.  He has written or edited numerous books including Inspiration and Incarnation, The Evolution of Adam, Genesis for Normal People, and commentaries on Exodus and Ecclesiastes. Enns is also a 1982 graduate of Messiah College and earned his M.Div. from Westminster Seminary in 1989. Enns resides in Lansdale, PA with his wife Sue (Messiah, 1983), and has three adult children including one Messiah grad (Elizabeth, 2012).
