James Brownson
James Brownson is the James and Jean Cook Professor of New Testament at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI, where he has been for over 20 years. He holds a Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary in New Testament (Gospel of John). As a New Testament professor, he tries to keep his focus on issues of significance in the life of the church and to help the church center it’s life more deeply on the gospel. He is the author of several books, most recently: “Bible Gender Sexuality: Reframing the Church’s Debate on Same-Sex Relationships*” (Eerdmans, 2013).
