Sourozh, and several articles, mostly on the lives of the Saints, in
Alive in Christ.
He also helped to edit, along with his wife Dr. Mary Ford and Dr. Alf Kentigern Siewers, Glory and Honor: Orthodox Christian Resources on Marriage (SVS Press, 2016). He contributed three articles in this volume: “The Glory of Marriage,” “Inspiration for Today from the Married Saints,” and “Noteworthy Quotations Relating to Marriage from within the Orthodox Tradition through the Centuries.”
Dr. David has also published encyclopedia articles on “St. John Chrysostom” in The Concise Encyclopedia of Preaching (John Knox/Westminster Publishing), “St. Innocent Veniaminov” and “St. Jacob Netsvetov” in The American National Biography, and “History of Orthodoxy” in The HarperCollins Encyclopedia of Religion in Canada. He also delivered the 2001 St. John Chrysostom Lecture at Holy Cross School of Theology, and the 2006 graduation address at Holy Trinity Seminary in Jordanville, N.Y.
His paper entitled “The Home as a Little Church: the Wisdom of St. John Chrysostom,” is posted on the website of the St. John Chrysostom Orthodox Church in House Springs, Missouri (2007). He and Dr. Mary published a paper posted on PublicOrthodoxy.com entitled “The Power of Sexual Purity” (2017).
And he also, along with Dr. Mary and Fr. Theodore Petrides, wrote and edited the 21 one-page thematic articles in the Old Testament portion of the complete Orthodox Study Bible, published in 2008.
