Julia Stronks
Julia K. Stronks J.D. Ph.D. is the Edward B. Lindaman Chair and a professor of political science at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA. She has written books and articles on the relationship between faith and public policy including Law, Religion and Public Policy: A Commentary on First Amendment Jurisprudence. She is co-author with her mother, Gloria Goris Stronks, a professor emeritus at Calvin College of several books, including Christian Teachers in Public Schools: A Guide for Parents, Teachers and Administrators. Julia and Gloria also authored One Jesus: a Response to the World Vision LGBT Decision.
In the last few years Julia has written over 100 opinion pieces that focus on a faith based approach to living in a pluralistic world. These pieces have been published by sites in Canada and across the United States.
